Australian Supercross champion Dean Wilson of Scotland, has easily won the opening round of the Australian Supercross Championship, held at Redcliffe in Queensland, Australia. The Brit went 1-1, winning for main events, and making it something of an AMA domination, second was Joey Savatgy with 2-2 with Australian, Luke Clout finishing in third place with 3-3 scores.
Wilson was on it all night long, being quickest in qualification, then winning his heat race and finally cracking the top step of the podium in the two main events. Round two of the 2024 championship will be held today at the same Redcliffe venue.
